How early should we book interpreters?
For AU-week and high-demand language pairs (FR, AR, PT), two to four weeks is comfortable. We still take 48-hour briefs when the roster allows.
Do you supply the booth and headsets?
Yes. Full two-person booths, tabletop booths, receivers, handhelds and a technician can be quoted as a package or as linguists-only if the venue already has ISO booths.
Can you work on Zoom, Teams or WebEx?
Yes. Remote simultaneous interpretation is a standing service line, including hybrid rooms with an in-person booth plus a remote channel.
Which languages do you cover?
Core pairs are English, Amharic, French, Arabic and Portuguese. Other local and international languages are rostered on request. See the languages page.
How do you price translation?
By word count, language pair, deadline and domain (policy, legal, medical, technical). Multi-language chains (EN–AR–FR–PT) are quoted as a single project with one glossary.
Is the work confidential?
Yes. Briefs, drafts and delegate lists are treated as confidential. We sign NDAs and institutional codes of conduct when required.
Do you work outside Addis Ababa?
Yes. We have covered assignments linked to Djibouti, Kenya and other regional venues, plus fully remote global conferences.
